Bio

How to describe myself? I’ve pretty eclectic tastes (in people and pretty much anything else), although I’m not a big fan of clubbing or crowds (I prefer wide open spaces, and peace & quiet - most of the time at least). I have a sometimes quirky outlook on life, and am generally happiest when not following the herd... I’ve packed a lot into my life so far, and intend to keep on doing so until my time is up.

I seem to have too many interests, from target shooting, photography, DIY, computers, motorbikes & cars, mountain biking, hiking & wild camping, through to theology, and learning about the ‘old’ traditional belief systems & cultures. Oh, for a few more hours in the day...

By day, I work as a engineering contractor - Design, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Controls, Systems, whatever's needed. I've experience in both the oil & gas sector, and in the defense sector. So I might be working anywhere, on short notice, maybe not even in this country. Excellent! A good way to gain experience quickly, and get paid well for doing so :o) Though it does take up rather more time than I'd like...
